Care Guide

Last on, first off

Put your jewelry on after perfume, hairspray, sunscreen and lotion, and take it off before you take anything else off. Cosmetics do more damage to gold plating than years of wear.

Keep it dry

Remove your pieces before showering, swimming or exercising. Polymer clay and resin are water-resistant, but plated findings are not.

Cleaning

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Never use jewelry dip, alcohol or abrasive polish — they will strip the plating and dull the clay.

Storage

Store each piece in the pouch it arrived in. Metal touching metal is what causes most scratches.

Handling

Hold earrings by the finding rather than the petals when putting them on. Clay is durable but not indestructible.
